Secluded but Lonely
Not lonely, but alone.
Separated, Isolated, filled with solitude.
The only one left in an area filled with grass and animal poo.
Tall, sky high, leaves falling onto the ground. Colorful but mystique.
He has such a great altitude. Massive but asleep, filled with different crawly species.
You would think he would be chopped down, along with the rest of them.
So sad, secluded, Isolated, filled with solitude.
Where did they go?
Why did the man
Chop down
What used
to belong here
My friends. My lovers. My Family.
Loneliness.
I had a lot going for me.
Even though I may just be a lonely tree,
I do have feelings you know? I had a family, wife and kids.
She was a great oak, and they were little saplings, grown to a substantial height.
They were so special to me, every single one of those saplings.
Until that awful night, in the midst of May.
That awful man. That man.
With the hairy
Beard, and
His friends,
Just standing there
Laughing at me,
And the rest of my family.
Waiting to take their axes; to chop the rest of me.
