What is a mother?

A mother is a gift
Sent from our father above
She was meant to teach us
Of life and of love
Her hands were made for holding
Her arms built for hugs
Her shoulder for you to cry on
It’s simply in her blood
Every mother is born gentle
Every one born to be kind
Each one is very different
And I’m proud to call mine, mine
She holds me when I’m sick
And wipes my tears when I am crying
Happy Birthday Mom!
I pray everyday that you don’t give up on me and quit trying
