A face so young so pure
The look in his eyes so scared unsure
This world has treated him badly, been so cruel
Born and raised in the slums
Never ate only got crumbs
The pain is so great it made him numb
Never told he was smart always thought he was dumb
His parents were gone before he ever saw the light
Most of his life was spent alone and in freight
When he was a boy he would say he was leaving the dumps
Everyone laughed and said he was dumb
they laughed at his dreams and always made fun
All he wanted to do was turn his back on them all and run
The day he left he felt such peace
He was wearing his tie and his pants with the crease
He walked with a smile on his face
He was looking forward to the days
His voice like an angel he hoped he would make it big
It was so easy for him to book gig after gig
Fame took a toll on him and made him upset
He was still unmarried and never at rest
People always put him to the test
No one heard what he had to say
They looked in admiration at his good looks and his face
The more fame he got the more he was pulled in every which way
He looked so confident on camera no one knew he was afraid
Thats why it came as a surprise to all when he overdosed and killed himself that day
Finally as his eyes fluttered closed for one last time all his pains and worries floated away.
