Dribbling up the court, measuring my shot,
In the paint with a wide open lane like an empty hallway,
Coach yelling from the bench, “Shoot it! Shoot it!”
With feet firmly planted in well-worn Jordans,
Out of nowhere, rules are broken, as rock begins to roll,
Toward an unexpected foul, things have gone awry.
