We Are Gamers
We are gamers.
Whether we play Xbox, Play Station, Wii, PC, or whatever else,
We are all gamers.
We are gamers.
To us, the controller, steering wheel, joystick, and keyboard and mouse are tools.
Tools that are like an extension of our bodies,
That allow us to manipulate any virtual world we’re thrown into.
We are gamers.
We’re like athletes,
Except our playing field is a gaming console, and instead of a ball, we use a controller.
We have excellent hand-eye coordination.
We use teamwork to solve problems and adapt to changing situations, to try to reach a common goal.
We are gamers.
You can hear us by the clicking of buttons and the whirr of the fans and the buzz of the disk drives.
Some of our consoles can get hot enough to heat an entire room better than a furnace!
The games we play push back harder as the levels progress.
We are gamers.
We are the reason why the $30 billion gaming industry thrives.
We are always looking for a new challenge to overcome.
We are like people who like to read books or watch movies,
Except we like to take part in the story and/or change the outcome as we choose.
We are gamers.
We are a large and diverse community, to which anyone can join.
