Identity
I try and pull away, but i’m stuck with you
Like bubble gum on the bottom of my shoe.
This is my thing, not yours
At this rate all you’re doing is closing doors.
These bridges are burning
Like cigarettes, their smoke turning and returning.
Let me be the person i’m meant to be
Can’t you see, this camera sets me free?
Is an extension of me?
It’s become my identity.
So please, i’m down on my knees,
Lets end these slow forming tragedies
Before they write the rest of our stories.
