Sweet as a raspberry
As pretty as a lily
The breath of a new life unfolds

Her eyes sparkle in the sunlight
Her dark brown hair flutters in the wind
While her mother watches her fondly

The days of autumn are filled with change
Her wedding day has come
Forever she will be a story in the making

The years unravel
Her mother grows older
The silence grows louder
The wind whispers in sad tone

"Some day you'll have to leave
Some day you'll have to go
Some day you won't be be here

If only you could stay
As innocent a child
And as delicate as a flowers petal

Don't leave me here alone
A wise guardian
Shadowing above me

A tear that falls
A glance in the past
A story once lived
I shall always miss you mother"

Tear drops that fall
Holds her spirit
And with the sadness that's filled within

The fun they had
The times they shared
Fade away

She sits down and cries
Unable to speak
