Me, Myself, and.....
I use to know it, the other half of me.
With the age comes the responsibility replacing the danger,
knowledge replacing the ignorance bliss that I lived in,
technology taking over the creativeness of my mind.
My eyes wander back at times, looking at what I have done;
what I was like before it all took place,
before people kept yelling for me to grow up.
Breaking down my walls of the garden I lived in,
jumping down the rabbit hole to join Alice,
Sprinkling myself with pixie dust to fly with the fairies,
singing with all the colors that I found in the wind,
becoming an expert with a bow and Robin,
Pillaging the evil villages we found,
being crowned a long lost princess that the people adore,
or swimming under the great blue with mermaids.
All of these still living,
being passed down from our hearts to the minds of others,
struggling to stay with us as we grow.
They slowly slip away as a thief in the night stole them,
