Quick Memory
There was just something about you that was so intoxicating to me.
The way your eyes steady talked for you.
Your kisses burnt on my flesh.
You made such a beautiful combination of 26 letters.
No one brought letters together in the way you talked.
I stay up late sometimes thinking about you.
I stare at the ceiling you stared at with me times before.
The bed where we made sweet love numerous times.
Sometimes I still feel your presence here around me.
Then I realize you are just a lingering dream.
Traces of you still remain in my random spaces.
I hope you stay here.
But I wish you were here again to wipe the tears from my eyes, and console me.
Your presence is powerful.
Thank you for the quick memory,
Back to reality.
