you told me that you wanted
to kill yourself
because nobody was ever there

and i dug my fingernails
into my arms
because i was trying to be somebody
and because i had tried so hard
to save you.

This is awesome. The sentence like structure gives you a sense of an anxious blurting of your feelings, in a good way.

I love the sincerity in this poem. I can somewhat relate to this as well, and I like the ending, however depressing it may be. Excellent job! :D

This is really great! Very relatable. Good job.
