More than Land
There stood a bear
With long, brown hair
It sniffed with its nose
And stopped in a pose
It turned and saw
And stepped forward with one paw
There they stood face to face
With nothing between them, but a space
Then the fight had begun
And something unclear is who had won
For something little over land
They got right down to it in the sand
Their fur was full of dirt and mud
And in between their paws were clumps of cud
Blood dried on their skin
As they began to spin
If only they had realized
Father and son would not be fossilized
