Powder Love
There is no reason
Behind love
No real reasoning
When falling
It is completely
And utterly
Not a choice
And it is irresistible and irrevocable
Whether it may crush
Or whether it may heal
It will never leave you
Love is like a weight
That presses upon your heart
Suppressing
Until it pops
A balloon
It drips hot acid
raining, scarring
Burning soft tissue
With it's angry fingers
Hell-bent
On destroying
All happiness
Determined to burn it
Into gray ashes
A mountain of silver ashes
