Of pain and death
Of memories and hurt
Where all that lives
Is the past.
A mixed-up world
Of blood and fights
Of sadness and depression
Where all that thrives
Is the greed.
A mixed-up world
Of money and poverty
Of hunger and distress
Where all that remains
Is the want.
A mixed-up world
Of storms and floods
Of paths and choices
Where all that wins
Is the defeat.
A mixed-up world
Of loneliness and power
Of selfishness and ignorance
Where to all this leads
Is the end.
