If I have to lie to you I would even if it hurt me more.
I would tell you a lie to protect you and keep you warm.
I would tell you never to worry even though there’s a lot to worry about.
I would tell you I hate you just to keep you from myself.
I would tell you I love you even though I wouldn’t know what it meant yet.
I would tell you I’m ok even though deep inside I feel like crap.
I would tell you all this but the only person I would be protecting is my self.
But don’t get me wrong I love u to death.
But me protecting me would help me protect you …the love of my life.
