I used to think I’d missed my
golden age, that my being here
now was a tragic mishap of fate,
I was destined for adventure,
for daring swordfights and far
off places! But maybe this is it,
clattering keyboards are the
clinking of blades, the world
is at my fingertips! I can be the
hero if I try, a bumper-stickered
laptop is my sheath and the pen
is still mightier than the sword.
