Sometime after darkness had fallen,
the sixth hour.
A cry, heard about the Holy land.
In the silent air it was heard, a groan
piercing the bitter night.
Pulled from an invisible wire fastened to the enclaves of a heart, the chest was pulled up, out,
the ninth hour.
Eli, Eli
why hast thou forsaken me?
His eyes were closed, and he yielded to the spirit
