I like you best
When you are at your worst
When you are drowning yourself in comforter
Because sometimes the day comes too soon
When you are yelling, when you are screaming
Because sometimes life, sometimes people
Are too much
I like you best
When your eyes are heavy
And the only thing keeping you awake
Is a 2 am paper
And maybe thoughts of me
I like you best
When you are at your worst
Because how else
Would a person like you
Fall in love
(At your best)
with a person like me?
