1.
to and fro the porch swing sways
looking past the breeze
heart of Summer rests in me
2.
sun-kissed skin
mosquito bites
near the whispering creek lies Summer
3.
summer skies
electric blue, run through me like a current
engulf me in this bliss
4.
here and now
you think it'll last but it doesn't
Summer fades
5.
beyond rolling aqua hills lies strawberry flowers
Summer children catching bugs
6.
tents out back
midnight secrets
Summer kisses, memories
7.
in the wake
get the jump
only in Summer, bathing suit pics
8.
neon rays
life of Summer
blooming wave,green beds
9.
too much Summer heat
jumping river
wavy hair, no make up
10.
long walks
pebbled roadways
going somewhere, I don't know
Summer leaves, there are none
11.
trips and falls
waterfalls
packed lunches
Summer madness
12.
lazy days
lost track of time
only in my Summer mind
13.
Summer ends
sweet goodbyes
until next time

One day you are seventeen and planning for someday. And then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And that someday is yesterday. And this is your life. - Nathan Scott (OTH)

I really liked it. Its as if incan feel the summer breeze. Good word choice!
