‘What am I?’
Three simple words.
One question.
A multitude of thoughts,
A million responses.
The past, present, future,
The unknown.
Wondering,
Pondering,
Contemplating.
Decisions to make,
Choices to choose,
Pressure of the outcome,
Fear of the result.
Then,
Light,
Discovery,
Enlightenment,
All surface to purpose.
Shattering previous doubts,
Filling the empty voids,
Making certain what once was
Uncertain.
What am I?
Turns into
What I am.
And a question becomes
A statement.
