The Sadness In Her Eyes
The dark circles that penetrate her face
Mask all illusion and disperse sadness
She is lost, confused in a maze
A maze that is full of madness
She can no longer laugh or smile
Surrounded by doubt and danger
A walk to school seems like a mile
When she looks in the mirror she sees a stranger
A stranger who is left to drown
She feels glares from every person
Every smirk she gets makes her fall down
She wants to run
Run from all the cruelty of the world
Escape the sadness and pain
Find hope because right now her heart is sold
Her eyes are silent and filled with rain
The rain is harmful
She can no longer see
Her face is dull
Her heart is no longer filled with glee
