A heart, A clock, A soul, A brain
Memories made, memories forgotten
These four things do mean a lot
A heart, A clock, A soul, A brain
These four things always remain
One to beat until its over
For that one and only oh so true lover
One to tick until its done
Slowly churning out the life
One to move forward unto the next life
To forget all the pain, the tears, and strife
One to remember forever and ever
This life that was just held and what it meant
To find that lover we all strive to be
The single greatness of you, and of me
We are perfect for someone and it just takes time
And for this single soul we stop on a dime
Our jaw drops, and our heart stops for a millisecond
This soul with which we are intertwined
Comes into a life from out of the blue
The single greatness of me, and of you
A heart, A clock, A soul, A brain
Each time, this is, all that remains

That love is the strongest force of all, and no matter what, you should search for it, because it is out there for everyone in its own way

Thank you very much! I try to remain consistent, but sometimes it feels easier to switch in the middle, and so I do it, being free verse I felt it dind't matter all that much... but I agree it does flow better when you are able to hold it together like that

Because this is SO brilliant, I'm going to be a little itty bitty bit critical. Your rhyme scheme, for example, needs to be consistent. Poems just flow easier that way. Criticism over! You had a great rhythm - I found myself chanting along with it. Great job!
