Toy (Don't Break It Please)
Simple, small toy,
Why do you lay there?
There is a big world full of joy,
Why do you lay there?
You have such bright colors but many scratches,
Who would hurt you that way?
I see that little boy who snatches,
Is he the one who hurt you that way?
I wish I could ask that little boy,
Don’t you think she has feelings too?
Please don’t hurt that toy,
Don’t you think she has feelings too?
Little boy,
Don’t hurt my toy,
I gave her away,
So children like you can play.
Don’t break it,
Or you will learn the meaning of regret,
I am not going to fake it,
I will make a fret.
I will scream and cry,
Like you,
I will cry very high,
Or I will make a monster say, “BOO!”
Apologize,
Please,
She will not accept anymore lies,
Do this so we may all be at ease.
