Give Up on Me MAG
It feels like forever since I knew what was wrong
I used to worry, but now I wonder, “Why so long?”
“This dreary aura is about me,
I told you it's because I'm not that strong
I gave up on myself when you gave up on me”
It's all my fault – “I know, I know”
But there's something different about me now.
Can't you tell that I'm letting go?
A demon has besieged my soul
I promise you, I didn't know
Did you catch that phrase, “even though”?
Come back; just ask me – Wait. You just did.
“What's on your mind?” My conscience hid.
“Nothing.”
You may as well give up on me,
While I ponder alone, anxiously.
