Waiting.
It’s getting old,
This whole waiting thing.
It feels like that’s all we’re doing,
Waiting until our hearts to beat cold.
I’m tired of it,
Waiting for a better tomorrow,
For the end of my sorrow.
For someone to see,
For something to be.
For acceptance from you,
For anything true;
Because it all feels so fake.
My life should be for take.
I’m sure someone else could get use out of it.
I’m already worn out.
But the worst part is
I haven’t done anything yet.
