Trying to and yet.
You had your chance, now your done, so leave and walk the other way.
But I can't. Why though? Why can't I get her out of my mind? She can do it, so why can't you? Take the high road for a change. You know it's for the best.
And yet, you still look longingly, hoping, wishing. Inside your slowly dieing, ending, finishing. How long will you keep this dream close to you?
It's for the best, you know and so does she. So what are you waiting for, let the fish go, and cast out your line again and catch another one.
But yet, you keep holding on, making excuses. So let her go. Move on. And yet... Maybe keeping it a little longer won't hurt to much.
