Soft, the sound of breeze
Beautiful, the sight of the sunset
Yet, people prepare to leave

Unforgettable are my childhood memories
All the family gatherings and the joyful Eid celebrations
Yet, people say it’s an awful place to stay

The beauty of colorful spring flowers
The Athan for prayer at the break of dawn
And the cacophony of the gunshots fills the day
