I took your love for granite
I smashed it against a wall
Your pride in me had vanished
Against that now stained colored wall
Of hearts
And feelings broken
Since all had been thrown away
I had no heart or soul to give
But your heart stayed the same
I took you yourself us for grant it
So now I must hope
That forgiveness doesn’t have an expiration date.
I promise I’ll change
