Captive of Life

past light and dark,through thunder
eyes fly by 1 2 3,i sway
but past the violent bodies,no escape
your eyes dart this way and that,i watch
through the bodies your eyes,i search
but closer to them,(never shall reach)
what would i do,if i could
your eyes,to stare at the nothingness of
farther and farther i go,past the bodies
so close yet so far,from what?
(you),from you is to be from nothing
and to be nothing with you is to be free
for i am still a something,
a captive of life.
