It’s not easy
Being me.
People look at you
And expect to see what they want to see.
It’s not easy
Being me.
People look at you like you’re their idol
Like you’re the key
To everything in the world
Wrapped up
In a bright red present
One giant whirl.
It’s not easy being me.
Always having to do things for watching eyes.
Not wanting to, but having to
Just to be nice.
Having to live up to others expectations
Or living up to others disappointment
It’s either or I don’t have a choice.
It’s not easy, being me.
