Soft like hands crawl up your wrist
Like a spiders crawling up pipes
Goose pumps propose to your arm
As if this was a blissful wedding
But this was quite the opposite
He whispers in your ear,
“I love you.”
As if he was your cherished teddy bear
You sleep with at home
But he is nothing of that sort
The smell diffusing from his body is of frozen flesh
And I wonder if that was my parent’s odor
The last existing piece of my parents
Dispersing from the enemy
Their murder
