I awake during the to a grandfather clock alerting, telling me that darkness has arrived
I know I’m alone, I’ve always been alone
I’ve walked the shadows since I was created
And feared by the petty humans that walk the in the light
Their heart, so easily broken
I’ve walked this earth for far to long
Watching, listening to the chaos that is the human race
The centuries have taken their toll
And my cold black heart cares naught for this world
Alone I’ve wandered
My senses becoming dull
The nights hover around me like a protective veil
I never thought to find a soul as lonely as mind
And yet here you are willow
You wish to be free of the confines of mortality
But you know not what you ask me to do
You were born in the light
The gets so intense, you would lose control
Could you handle taking the life of another?
Could you handle never existing to the world?
But we would be together forever

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

You've got quite a few type-os but I really like the story this one tells.

-Women are many things to humans, but the one thing they are not is dominated by men.
-If a single act of hate can do so much damage, what can a single act of kindness do?

Work like you don’t need money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like no one's watching. ¦ I like change - but only when everything stays the same.

A few grammatical errors, but loving the crescendo at the end. I also like the slight twist, vampires becoming bored with humanity, senses becoming dull and them becoming weaker. 5 stars!
