milky bones being made
into lactose blue
as i unfold
the teeth
that formed
the smiles
of yesterday
and then some
i do not
want to ever
be
a

Where I'm tearing at the seams
and watching curds
form to sweetened
and condensed
as i watch you
rip her skin
apart as you

This is about watching kids' faces when they're getting treated for cancer on TV and in movies and the guilt that I feel for them.
