I forgot
Who I Was
and what I sought
never remembered
always forgot
pre-written stories
fill the Book
Who I Am
must be retaught
boys will be boys
so then girls must be girls
in a world of diamond rings
freshwater pearls
tarnished by hatred
spoiled by looks
jealousy ruins love
yet lust rules all
touch and sparks fly
Who I Will Be
turn on the news and lets just
wait
and
see
