Ready to Serve
She's crying
Louder than ever
Its painful to listen to
Piercing my ears, in fact
She wants him yet he's never coming back
He's gone to serve his country, and she knows that
Though she will never accept it
Selfish is what others think
But I get it, the loss of love
The loss of attention and acceptance
She's quieting down now
Her breath is coming to a stop
The tears are dried and the tissues are crumpled
The bathroom door is creaking open and she sulks to her bed, embarrassed
She knows its wrong to cry for simple things, but not him
He's not simple, not at all
