Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.

So little time is spent
Looking where the time it went
Wasted, used, or wisely spent
Often we forget that it is lent

The kings above look down below
Displeased with the seeds not sown
So much gone to waste, alas,
And all that's left is fields of grass

From the skies descends the whispered warning
But humans, blissful, continue larking
Not to know what is in store
Not even what they learned from lore

I met a man who knew this tale
Only for a second, before he set sail
For he was busy living his dreams
Helping the hopeless, feeding the lean

I asked him what his secret was
A life with not one second lost
He smiled at me with piteous eyes
And told me what for him it cost

"Time stands still for no mortal man
While you're able, do what you can
For life is sly, and before you would know
You would wish, when you were younger
That you would not have snubbed Time
Your friend
Your enemy
That Impartial Line."
