Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family.

I fell in the night
I couldn't do what was right
The darkness made me fight
Till I saw the light

I lay there in pain
With one of my enemies slain
But I'm bleeding in the rain
Evil stands above like yya great dane

Satan takes his knife
And is about to take my life
We are in strife
As if I were his wife

I count my seconds down
Everything is going brown
My blood is causing me to drown
He doesn't even have on a frown

He stares into my eyes
Laughing at my cries
He told me these lies
And smiles at my whys

I try to crawl away
But everything begins to sway
And I can't find my way
So this is where I lay

Blood slides down my face
But I stand up to run at my own pace
And then there begins the race
I am the king and he is the ace

I have no chance
Because he puts me in a trance
I look behind for one glance
And I see him start to advance

He chases me
And won't let me be
I'm trying to see
But fall onto one knee

Looking up to the light
I ask god to help my fight
Because I'm out of sight
And Satan was not right

And then I can see all around
My heart begins to pound
But I'm protected by a sound
The light has me in a ball that's round

The sun shines on me
And I can truly see
Evil doesn't have to make it three
God and me is all it needs to be
