Take Me Away

Take me away,
I need to go somewhere new.
I’m done here, I can’t stay much longer.
I’m lost and alone.
Maybe somewhere warm will let my mind wander freely, letting the true feelings flow.
Every day here, the cold just bites at me, the bitter laugh just mocking me saying,
“Just stay a little longer, I’ll leave you eventually.”
The sand and the sun will embrace me, and all of my troubles will disappear.
Knowing that it might be my only way to survive I have to make the choice,
Do I stay with you?
Or do I go somewhere new?
