Winter Snow
Winter snow,
Where are you?
It’s February.
I’ve only seen your face a couple times so far.
Flurries.
Speckles.
Against the dark sky.
Or the light one.
The clouds are keeping secrets.
They don’t feel like sharing.
The sky is beautiful.
The clouds.
The air.
The heat.
But it’s February.
And I was hoping to see you.
I miss you.
I want the chill.
The slush.
The flurries.
Under my feet.
Beneath the sky.
Ugly and all.
The snow melts away in a while.
The invisible snow.
The magic snow.
The mind snow.
My snow.
I want.
I need.
To know.
Where you are.
