New Beginnings
Spring hailing and end to winter’s tyrant grasp
More playing and laying in the grass.
Sunshine dancing down to Earth
To start the morning
and end the mourning.
Not so cold, not so hot
great for planting apricots.
Not great for swimming nor skiing,
but nice for day dreaming
about those long summer days that lie in ahead.
Where rough play is encouraged, and running is just fine
and video-games inside are a crime.
