Attached at the strings.
I cannot hear, the silence is killing me,
Darkness surrounding, I cannot see.
Attached, the strings I can feel them,
They pull on my emotions, a home to condemn.
I try to fight but somehow I've given up,
My thoughts are lost, so abrupt.
My outside is no longer mine,
I'm walking on a thin wire a straight line.
Expressions no longer have meaning,
Every smile I give my body is leaning.
People are watching but none of them see,
I'm a puppet of someone that's not really me.
