“maybe I can help”

“Ah, yes, you want to be a writer don’t you?”

“You say that as if it’s a bad thing”

“No, no. just a lonely thing. Sometimes the world you create on the page seems more friendly than the lives in the world you actually live in.

It’s a high blushing giggle,
And a pink rosy smile.
It’s sweetness like candy,
And a rush when he walks by.
It’s an olive green sweater,
He wears on winter days.
Held my hand in his jacket,
Whisking us both away.

It’s my pen moving too fast,
To remember every touch.
Its an ever growing dreaming,
About us.
A pulling an a pushing on my little heart.
It’s wishing of him near sunset,
And of death us never part.

Yes love is flowing now,
And I want it growing forevermore.
And this love is un-touchable,
Like a cadged bird behind locked doors.
Oh but with him pink hearts surround me,
And they float up in the air.
There’s one,
There’s another!
Flying out of his beautiful black hair.
