In two seconds time, a chance was lost
Two people in love, their paths uncrossed
Both of them yearning to reveal
The emotions they will always feel
In two seconds time, their fate was twisted
Now in the book of lost loves, they are listed
Both suffering from the wrath of fate
The destruction of love, only she can create
In two seconds time, their future was destroyed
Oh, why was it theirs that fate had toyed?
Both now cursed to love from afar
Fate had left a very permanent scar
