My Magic
I do not need a wand
To use my magic
I just need a pen
And a bit of ink
My magic flows
Through my hand
Flying
Across the page
Trying
To keep up
With my mind whirring, gears turning
Thoughts floating in my mind
Forming sentences
For the paper to find
Written in black ink
On it's plain white surface
It is the only magic I know
The portal to a special place
Where I can be myself
Where I can be happy
And only there can I show
The person I truly am
Behind the sad dark eyes
Lies a brilliant spark that gleams
When I enter
My magic world of words
