Waterfall
Tumbling, laughing, dancing down a crumbling staircase.
She doesn't stop for anyone.
Around her, seasons change. Darkness grows. Terror rises.
But she dances on, unfazed, unashamed.
She smiles a little and continues
Twirling and falling, jumping and beaming,
She doesn't care.
Her jealous beauty is untouched
As is her heart.
