Crazy Old Man
Once, so long ago I met
A bearded old male
Whose mind was always set
On a stupid ancient tale
The man would always say-
Aye!! Everything is wrong!!
And dance around like a lunatic
Singing a fruitless song
He’d say the world is going to perish
And would hug the gates of the old parish
And say something in Greek or Latin
I can’t figure out what he’d said
It has been so many years
Since he vanished
But everything he’s said still
Haunts me from within.
