Day's Nation
The day we drove to the Empire
Was sparkles and gold
Sheer fabric wrapped dancers
With bells on their feet
An innocent parade it was indeed
Plays of madness and war
Led to a roast with a pig in the door
A color washed world for you and me to see
We’ll walk through the streets to try to find some sleep
Wake up tomorrow and repeat the steps
Continue your trail without any rest
Dancing and touching with laughter
The texture of the time was so soft,
And ready
It was sour
It was sweet
