sympathy of soul
Alone and aimlessly
I stood along the lonely trail
In this world I swung here and there
Went in circles, ceaselessly
It only, lend the hand
It pulled me from my fallen feet
I stood haggard and refused
But it only, pushed me to land
I had always contempt and gave it blows
Went far from who was near
I bruised it every way I could
This despair never goes
It stood and stands like the only star in the shrouded sky
It is the sympathetic soul, who helped
When people passed over like blind
I, in this guilty self proudly call it my.
