Mirror
You looked in my eyes
And I looked in yours
You gave me flowers
And my heart melted
When you kiss me
My knees go weak
When you hug me
I feel love and protection
And when you leave
I know you'll come back
Because if you don't
I'll die
I hope you know
That's how I feel
Because what did I do to you?
All I did was ask a question
And you came up behind my back
With a knife and stabbed it
I know we have problems
And I know we have fears
You took your anger out on me
Because you saw a mirror
When I look at you,
I see me
Angry, hurt, and sad
But understand were in this together
This war we fight
Against our anger and trust
So try and understand
You fight me, you fight yourself
Look in the mirror
Now tell me what you see
I see vulnerablity
