See You on the Other Side
Something's missing, something's so painfully loud and obnoxious
Because it's quiet as it scratches the inside of my ribcage
But I can't kill it because that's what the Big Man taught us
Metallic is blood falling from my pores in this phase
The moon became dimmer when you decided to leave us
And the air tasted more like acid rain than it ever did
With this,I question the standing word of "righteous"
Soil in the earth became dry from the earth's cracked lid
That week runs through my head, being chased by the devil
The cries of my family, and the tears in the sky
Just refuse to look at the plastic whine glass as half filled
Because when the lights gave out,a part of me had died
What I wouldn't give to tell you I love you one last time
Well, there isn't anything, nothing so priceless on the ground
I keep looking, but my eyes fall when they can't find
Your voice that blessful,booming,laughing,phenomanal sound
I keep looking into the wrong mirrors,I know because they melt
Along with the time separating the reunion of the family tide
That night marks the end of cell-this bombing time of hell
My chest only thuds because I know I'll see you on the other side
