Live Life Like A Party That Never Ends

It’s another night
In another town
I’m falling in love
I walk the streets
Looking for a passageway
Where I can
Fall out of love
And set myself free

Truth is rarely pure and never simple~Oscar Wilde

This is definitely short, but it gets the point across which a lot of long, fruity poems don't get to often. I believe the same things you do with this poem. I don't like the idea of falling in love. It just gives someone else the opening to hurt us. People can be together for years and it won't work out. With so many bad things happening, of course I don't believe. It's human nature though to fall in love, simply because we want a form of companionship. I can see you said something similar with "In another town, falling in love." I'm trying my best NOT to fall in love but I think once we're in, we can't "set [ourselves] free." Good poem. Please rate and comment my own
